Sorry About the Comment Spam
I’ve added a restriction that users can only post comments to the site without going through the moderation queue if they have previously posted an approved comment. I think that should stop the pornographic comment spam we’d started to pick up, at the cost of making newcomers’ comments take a little longer to appear.
Please let me know if you notice anything icky slipping through. In the meantime, party on, birdcammers!

I just wanted to say I really enjoy your blog and I check it everyday for new pictures and comments. To bad some people have to try to ruin things with their comments. I enjoy the people at the sutro forest and I look forward to the mornings drinking coffee and watching the birds. take care

Darn, I missed the spam!
Ditto what KK said. Minus the coffee. I’m just always wishing we had audio as well as the camera to hear the birds chirping.

Yeah. I agree with the first two commentors (among my favorite by the way). An audio
would be very nice. But then again, I can hear them the office comments when they hear
the birds chirping —” doing THAT again?… We knew you were strange, but you really are. ” Oh well, the price we pay for our obsessions.
